RIP Fat Fat (24th April) and Jeet Jeet (18th April).
~Ellepedia~ at 7:04 PM 18th April. Goodbye and farewell Jeet JeetJeet jeet left peacefully in his sleep. Sad, but we know, he is old. Buried him at the park this morning with our stuffs and his favourite pot. Yes, we love him.And this is the last pair of pets we are going to have. ~Ellepedia~ at 11:14 PM
17th April - the third time I cried my lungs out. It's a horrible day today, but thanks to the friendly vet and stuff at block 716 Yishun, we felt better.Early in the morning, my mother came in to tell us that jeetjeet's not around anymore. Shocked. We went out, stared at the cage and jeet jeet was in his favourite orange pot. I took the pot out and tried calling him. He moved - thank god. Asked him to come out, and realized that his face was swollen. He got this bulge at his chin and his mouth/face swell double the original. He appeared weak and his eyes won't open. Immediately, we cried. That was 7.14am. And we cried on and off, on and off. Going to school was a terrible mistake, because my heart wasn't with what I was doing. I was terribly worried about jeet jeet. Terribly worried. After that crying in the morning, my eyes are sore and I am super tired. =0( So can't take it anymore, and headed home in the afternoon and brought jeet jeet to the vet. The walk there was tomenting. Really. We were ready to put jeet jeet to sleep because we felt that he was in pain. =0( But the visit to the vet was great. Like, really great. The vet - Dr Kenneth Tong is awesome! A young doctor that's humourous and really know how to calm the patient's parents(*us*) really well. He knows how to convey that serious matter in a calm manner and he keeps smiling. He not only makes our jeet jeet feel better, he made us feel better. I can tell he loves pets alot. Really alot. From the way he carried jeet jeet out and from the way he talk to jeet jeet. He told jeet jeet he's really strong and handsome (*but his face is swollen*). And he kind of played with jeet jeet. And for some reason, jeet jeet was pretty active there, just that he couldn't walk really well. He tend to stumble around. =..( Heartaches at that sight. He said that jeet jeet's heartbeat is really good, but he got problems with liver, lung and kidney and that's why his little body is retaining all the fluid in different areas. And he is dehydrated because he is in discomfort. =0( But he said that jeet jeet is the oldest hamster he has ever seen and we have been great owners. And he mentioned that jeet jeet is really strong! Because jeet jeet is really our fighter. He battled three times. =0( And he is living up to 100+ years in human life. He never wants to give up and we were so worried it was hurting him. But Dr kenneth said that he isn't in pain, just a little discomfort. Just like when we, humans, are sick. Jeet jeet's like super cute! The vet wants to bring him out, but he wanted to run the wheel! Sick already still run. That's how strong he is. He is an active hamster. So strong, I really salute him. We can only prolong his life for a few days with medication. That's all. Wouldn't put him to sleep, because that would be too pain. But yea, that's what old age do to the hamster. But our hamster fought the battle well. He never gives up. The clinic is like awesome. A family-oriented clinic. Friendly assistance and friendly vet. Jeet jeet is happy, because he is still trying to move around and all. We love him and he knows it. He is resting well, and we hope to feed him with his favourite food - papaya. Since he can't chew on seeds. And he doesn't wants to drink water. But you know, it hurts us to see jeet jeet like that. But, I know he is happy and lived longer than most hamster. Yes, I am proud of Jeet jeet. Though tears flow seeing him like that, I feel much better. Better than before heading to the vet. I love our fighter, and I am hoping for miracles. Our fighter - jeet jeet. The never-say-die attitude is what I salute. Pictures below are taken this morning. The total fee for Jeet Jeet is $45.00, $25 for consultation and $20 for medication (*for respiratory and water swelling*). I have never feel so happy paying money before. Yes, he's face swell. For those that know jeet jeet, his face is sharp. Our darling, trying his best to breathe because his lungs are filled with fluid. Yes, me and our fighter. ~Ellepedia~ at 6:04 AM There is no time to think of the many "what ifs" in life. =D I've learnt that. And among the two uni, I have made my choice and registered. =D And pleaseeeee..vote for Team DesertWolf at http://www.imaginecup.com.sg =D THANKS! ~Ellepedia~ at 9:12 AM I have been reading so much about aquaculture. And the more I read, the more I have doubts! And the more I need to read. It's like being a lawyer you know. Like you must know the negative and positive about the case you are putting forward and you need to turn these negatives into positives! OMG! Take those fishes away! ~Ellepedia~ at 5:38 AM Liverpool, YNWA ~Ellepedia~ at 4:54 AM =0( Why can't I access youtube?! ~Ellepedia~ at 3:04 AM | |
