Singapore Zoo**Started this blog post at 11.30am and finished at 6.46pm!**Geared with each 2 onigiri, 1 pack of cracker and a bottle of drink, headed down to the Zoo! Oh well, they weren't enough to last us through the 8 hours trip so we headed down to B&J for ice-cream and KFC at KidzWorld. =D But I didn't take peektures of them! Armed with crappy pictures, what I have to show are really crappy quality pictures of the animals!  I kind of moved around the Zoo according to what I have drawn in this map and trust me, I combed the whole of the Zoo in around 7 to 8 hours. And that includes catching the Rainforest Fights Back show at 1.30pm which was awesome and funny! =D  Some random snapshots  I love this shot with Ah Meng the mosttttt! Notice her coke please!  I attempted "kiss-a-tortoise/turtle" shot but I failed terribly because of someone laughing behind. And therefore ended up looking at it stupidly.  It's the Year of the Ox!  Was pointing to an animal up there actually.  Yes, one of the rare moments I wear my spectacles. =D Tapir This cute lil thing was eating when we were visiting them! =D But there's one lazy one laying in the shade. And yes, weather was great! =D I overheard this kid telling his mom that this is an ox/a cow. And guess what the mom replied? Yes, this ox/cow very cute hor. No no, Tapir isn't ox/cow. Their closest relatives are Rhinos and Horses. But I think, if parents are to bring their young ones to the Zoo, they should erm, learn more about the animals first before being them to the Zoo. Or at least, don't give the young ones false info! But the Tapir are really cute! I always thought their relatives are Zebra though!     Babirusa Can't get a proper picture of them! They look like Warthog to me! =D   White Tiger Whoops, White Tiger in Singapore Zoo never amazes me. They are too thin to appear fierce and almighty! Not that I dislike them luh. They just look like house cats!  Pygmy Hippo Cute little Hippos! =D    Warthog Babirusa look alike! But I didn't take anymore pictures of them because they kept napping!  Baboon Village There are alot of cute maa-maa and the  I have no idea why these statues kept rolling their eyes!   This is the place where they kept their grains. Below this storage, there is a small cage for the keeping of MAA-MAA! And there's a real maa-maa kept there! This goat confined to such small space kept maa-ing in this sobbing tone!  There! This MAA-MAA   And beside this maa-maa are other roaming maa-maa!   And here comes the Baboons!  The loner!  I find this very funny! Really like Mafia!  Sweet!  Splash with the Penguins!       Rainforest Fights Back Managed to catch this show! There are 2 timing slots of each day and it's entertaining! Not too lengthy and not too short! Manage to capture the hearts of audience with the trained animals! And yes, even the performers look like they are enjoying what they are doing too! I was taking pictures halfway when I gave up! Have to clap and snap the pictures at the same time is like too tiring! So just enjoyed the show!      Elephants Of Asia Went ahead to Elephants of Asia first. The Elephant Rides are actually not at the Elephants of Asia. I placed them together because they belong to the group Elephants! =D So these are the ones at the Elephant Ride:      And we spotted an Elephant pee! =D Super cute! It kept swaying side to side and honestly, you wouldn't want to be near the Elephant when it is peeing! I guess, it's more than a litre of pee!  A painting from the elephants! And along the way to the Elephants of Asia, there's this hut with information on Elephants and documentary too!       And there's this super steep staircase up to take peektures!       Monkies The monkeys are scattered around and oh my gosh, there are so many variety of monkeys in the zoo that I have problem remembering their names and identifying them! Haha! Here are some!    I know you must have realized that there are like pathetic number of monkeys photo! In the first place already take very little monkey photo, then Q.A left this three. Heh heh! i love monkeys I really do!   Sun Bear The bear wouldn't come out! =0( And there's one sleeping in this dark corner! Oh, do you know, Sun bear are the smallest bear in the world? Super cute! I love sun bear!   Critters Longhouse -One of my fav! Attempting to make it an artsy shot. Failed terribly! I suck at phototaking luh  My favourite animal in the longhouse!  They kept standing up and down! And eating and running! So active!    And my fav! Mr Stoner!  I don't like cats. So that explains the pathetic number of Leopard Cat picture   Kidzworld After a LONGG walk..well, we did rest at some spots for our onigiri break. But the weather was too good to us! It's like warmmm! So reaching Kidzworld was heaven! =D KFC BREAK! And after that headed to look at the MAA-MAAs (*cuter than the ones at the Village*) and horses and ponies! =D The maamaa are really so uber cute!     There's this very old maamaa(*goat*) in there! And you can really tell that he is an old maamaa because everyone wouldn't fight when he is in the area! PONIES and HORSES!     I love King the most! This horse is called King! He reminds me of Elvis Presley! =D  Proboscis Monkey      Giant Tortoise and Komodo Dragon I love the Mr Wan Suis and Komodo! =D      Treehouse Some staircase up the tree. Pretty cool with the squirrels jumping about!    African Lion I love the African Lion more than the White Tiger! Except... the lions are nua-ing!    They kept nua-ing! POLAR BEAR INUKA - I SERIOUSLY LOVE INUKA! Inuka is super cute. He had so much fun playing with the pipe! I took many shots of cute inuka playing with his pipe! But here's a few.       Mr Kanga!
